Nervous, tonight we share with our 5 sons that Daddy has an upcoming deployment. Last time the boys were younger and it was our first so we all just went with the flow. Now we know a lot earlier than last and are sharing with the kiddos a lot earlier too.Ive come to terms that I am torn telling them now vs. later. As a mutual decision we have decided now. Everyone is right they don't get easier after the first one. I can only hope that we are supportive enough through this journey for our sons and ourselves as to not have regrets. On a chipper note my house is uber clean as I am "nesting" for my empty nest without father bird around. I desired for everything to have it's place and less is best. Poor husband and poor kids... I have become a clean freak!
